Helmed by Chef Robby Goco, famously known as the “Lambassador” of the Philippines, Elaia by Cyma carries forward his passion for Mediterranean cuisine with finesse. The space itself is well-crafted, with an ambiance that invites relaxation and connection. Although not air-conditioned, the design is tasteful, blending indoor comfort with pet-friendly outdoor areas, making it a thoughtful choice for families and pet owners alike. While some reviewers mention the slow service typical of soft openings, the attentiveness of the staff adds a layer of warmth that aligns well with the overall experience.

Elaia targets diners who appreciate Mediterranean food that is not only delicious but also balanced and nourishing. From the fresh ratatouille to grilled seabass served Mediterranean-style with olive oil-dipped cold mashed potatoes, the dishes invite one to appreciate tradition with a modern twist. The layout, however, could benefit from some operational fine-tuning, including restroom capacity and service flow, to better accommodate its growing clientele.

In sum, Elaia by Cyma stands as a hidden gem for lovers of genuine Mediterranean fare and a tranquil setting. It promises an authentic taste of Greece, elevated by Chef Goco’s expertise, making it a worthwhile destination for food enthusiasts craving an escape to the Mediterranean, right in Cavite.

Elaia by Cyma – A Relaxing Mediterranean Spot in Silang If you’re looking for a peaceful place to enjoy healthy and delicious Mediterranean food, Elaia by Cyma in Silang, Cavite is worth checking out. It’s a fine dining spot tucked away on an inner road, so it feels like a bit of a hidden gem — quiet, cozy, and beautifully set up. The vibe is really pleasant and calming, perfect for a laid-back lunch or a special dinner. It’s run by Chef Robby Goco, also known as the “Lambassador” of the Philippines, so you know you’re in good hands when it comes to Mediterranean flavors. I had the collagen soup, ratatouille, grilled seabass with mashed potato, and their Elaia lemonade. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced — you can tell the dishes are made to be healthy but still full of flavor. The seabass was nicely grilled, and while I was surprised that the mashed potato was served cold, I found out that’s how it’s meant to be — dipped in olive oil, Mediterranean-style. Not what I expected, but it worked! Overall, it’s a great spot if you want something a little different, with good food, good vibes, and a calm setting to enjoy it all.

We went there on a weekday and the place is empty. They have several wait staff but only 1 served us the whole time while others lounge around. I don't mind having one server because he was helpful and attentive. But it doesn't feel right to have so many staff that was doing nothing instead of helping. Maybe something that management needs to consider. The food was excellent. Really enjoyed the pork chops. Tender and juicy. The only thing I didn't enjoy, unfortunately, was the feta cheese. I usually look forward to that in any Greek food. I think it might be old or almost expired, perhaps. The portions were great, can feed up to 2-3 person per dish. The location is where the original Asiong's used to be.

Nice place, food's ok, but service was kind of slow although staff were very attentive. You have to make a reservation ahead of time because they can be busy during lunch hours; not sure on dinner time... The lamb we had was too fatty and bland, the chicken was pretty much pinkish inside, and so they have to cook it again; took awhile so we kind of lost our appetite when they brought it back... Overall, the rest of the food we had were fine. This place is ok for greek cuisine. Perhaps we'll preorder our food ahead on our next visit to give them more time to prep. Thanks for being there, Elaia by Cyma & Staff!

Elaia by Cyma located in Silang is another Greek Restaurant by chef Robby Goco. I am a fan of his restaurants so I decided to get my family together on my birthday for a visit. We googled the location and from New Manila Quezon City where we were meeting up with our other family members, the drive was going to take almost 2 and a half hours. Our reservation was at 11am. Anyway, off we went. And it did take that long to get there. It was cloudy and drizzling when we arrived and the place already had a few diners. I brought my furbabies to help celebrate my special day. We called ahead and made reservations. We also informed Elaia that we were bringing pets. As we sat down, and started to settle after the long drive, at the table they reserved for us, we were approached by a waitstaff and were asked to move to another table because a diner was not comfortable that we had dogs. But isn't this place pet friendly? All the diners should be made aware that the restaurant allows pet. Anyway, i was in a good mood so I let this pass amd we transeffered tables. My husband already hungry kept on saying, i hope the food is good. Fortunately, it was. We ordered some items in the menu that we were familiar with and I asked for the specialties that only Elaia served. The service was just a bit slow and the waitstaff made a couple of mistakes but it was fine. The food was good. My husband said he will not be returning because its too far. Although he enjoyed the meal, he doesnt think the time and gas is not worth it. On the other hand, the younger family members said they are willing to make the trek and return. The place was nice. Well decorated. If they had air-conditioning, I did not notice. We could not really check outside because of the rain so that was a bummer. Also, the place only had 2 bathrooms. 1 male and 1 female. As the place became fuller, the line for the 2 bathrooms became longer. They should have at the very least offered 2 toilets per gender. The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere. Diner convenience should have been considered when it came to the bathroom planning. All in all, i had fun. After the drive back to the metro, a cousin of mine said it felt like a school field trip where you leave school at 8.30am and arrive back at 4pm. It was a long, fun day and the food was really good. But if I am not already in tagaytay or near Silang, I am very content in eating at the very many branches of Souv and Cyma in Metro Manila.

Everything we ordered was so good we can’t wait to dine in again. Serving size of the appetizer and chicken were generous. Super friendly staff. Mains took a while, but they’re on soft opening so it doesn’t affect my rating and trust this can be addressed. Well-designed space Pet-friendly (outdoor + designated indoor area) Will definitely come back. A place where you’d want to bring loved ones.

Ordered Paidakia, Souvlaki, and Roka Salata. Everything tastes good! A refreshing taste considering that most restos in tagaytay offer Pinoy food. Food LOOKS expensive on the menu, but you'll eventually find out that their servings are huge! Good for two? No, its actually for 3-4. We will definitely come back and taste the rest of the food on the menu.

Not always easy to find a restaurant when you want to eat vegetables… no, I’m not vegetarian but just eating healthy. So, when I saw this nee place near Tagaytay by Cyma, I just had to try. If you now Cyma, expect to be eating salads and dips, and that’s what we ordered. The Tagaytay salad with Yuzu vinaigrette is a must try!! The taste is really refreshing. Couldn’t decide on the dips, so we just ordered the dip sampler, yummy!! The flavours were on point. I wanted to try a main dish, the mousaka didn’t disappoint, the size is good to share together with the rice in bell pepper (can’t remember what it’s called). I think I like their food better than Cyma, or is just because of the beautiful ambience? The decor is very nice and the service is really good. We came for early dinner on a Friday, but during dinner time the place is almost full. This place is about 15mins from Aguinaldo hiway, expect to drive in small town streets. Looking at the interior, expect that prices are higher, but its similar prices with other nice places in Tagaytay.
